At this time, 98z Rare Pair Fest is a SVT member only fest. All main pairings for 98z Rare Pair Fest must be between either Seungkwan and another SVT member, or Vernon and another SVT member.Can my submission be a chaptered fic?
Yes! Your chaptered fic, however, must be ready to be posted as an in-progress work on AO3 at time of posting.What if I need to drop out of the fest?
Hey, life happens! If you need to drop out, please reach out to mods directly via DM or email, and we will remove you from all future correspondence. If you hear from us after - just let us know! Things get mixed up, but we’ll fix it!Are you accepting fics in any language?
Yes, we will be allowing fics of any language to be submitted. As a reminder, please stick to our content rules of writing about an accepted rarepair, and please just ensure that you are tagging your fic appropriately! As long as your fic meets these guidelines, you're good to go :)
What is 98z Rare Pair Fest?
98z Rare Pair Fest is a fic fest that celebrates the rare pair ships with Seventeen's Vernon & Seungkwan. This is an AO3-based Seventeen-only prompt fest, meaning that all of the main pairings must be between two Seventeen members.

PROMPTING
When does the prompting period begin?
The prompting period opens on August 1, and will remain open until August 14. Please note that the more specific your prompt is, the less likely it is to be selected.I want to write for this fest. What if I want to write my own prompt?
We can’t wait to hear about it! Please hold onto your idea until the sign up period opens on August 14.
CHECK-IN
There will be one informal check-in in October. The check-in will look like the sign up form, except there will be an option to drop out of the fest available, as well as to change your prompt claim if you would like to.However, life does happen. If you wish to drop out of the fest before or after the check-in, please reach out to mods so we can remove you from future correspondence.
CLAIMING
When does claiming open?
The sign up period will open on August 14.How do I claim a prompt?
We will post a Google Form on sign up day. In that form, we will ask for your preferred method of contact, your AO3 username, and what prompt you’ve selected.Can I write more than one fic/claim more than one prompt?
One prompt at a time, please! But if you finish your first fic and want to submit another, reach out to mods so we can keep track :)
POSTING
When are fics due?
All fics are due on December 8, 11:59PM KST. We will begin posting on December 11.What if I need more time?
